Misk Bull Terriers
Bull Terriers are
probably my (JK) greatest passion, but despite many years of "trying"
most of my efforts ended in disaster. Nevertheless, I have
treasured my dogs and thank Winkie Mackay-Smith (Banbury) and Norma
& Gordon Smith (Magor) who have been so patient and understanding.

"Bella"

CH Magor Marbella
|
"Bella" was an absolutely regal bitch
both in appearance and attitude. She was so kind and sweet - she
reminded me of a beautiful horse with her upstanding outlook, beautiful
neck and wonderful carriage. She just missed getting her ROM
title.
|
"April"

CH Banbury Brass Amulet
|
"April" was my first
bullie and she was also a treasure. She could read your mind, I
swear! She acted as a foster mother for an orphaned Cardi
litter. She is shown winning a 3 pt ROM under breeder-judge
Marilyn Drewes - she was actually shown to this win by my friend Janice
Luginsland, a very well-known Pomeranian breeder!
|
"Bird"

Magor Fire Bird
|
"Bird" established a
near dynasty for the Magor Kennels. I saw her as a very young
puppy and just loved her. I inquired about her a few months later
and the Smiths said sadly her mouth had gone off and they were looking
to place her. She had just stuck in my mind and I said despite
her mouth I wanted to buy her. It is easy to see what a
magnificent bitch she grew to be - although I never showed her.
She had only one litter which survived and the influence they have had
is amazing. She was a full younger sister of Marbella. She
retired as a very much loved and spoiled pet of Reed and Barbara
Holaday.

"Posh"

Can Am CH Magor Fire n' Ice of Misk, ROM
|
"Posh" is a daughter
of Bird sired by Can Am CH Magor MVP, ROM. She is distinquished
for going Runner-Up at Silverwood (the most prestigious bull terrier
show in North America) and WB and BW at the next day's BTCA National
Specialty. She produced the dog puppy who won Best in
Sweepstakes and Winners Dog at the 2005 BTCA National Specialty.
|
"Sporty"

Magor Lady in Red of Misk
|
"Sporty" is a
gorgeous unshown sister of Fire n' Ice. She was bred to Can Am CH
Lonestar Whole Lota Hoopla and had an outstanding litter, producing a
Silverwood winner and the sisters who were WB/BW/BV and RWB at the 2005
BTCA National Specialty. She was much loved by the late Marianne
Arvelin.
|
"Margo"

Can CH Magor Margo of Misk
|
"Margo" is an absolutely brilliant
bitch and is out of Lady in Red sired by Can Am CH Lonestar Whole Lota
Hoopla. At her initial showing in the US, she won Silverwood 2005
and was WB/BW and BV at the BTCA National Specialty as well as BOS to
BB at that show. I was stunned to hear of this win as she beat
out the top winning Bull Terrier of all time - a dog whom I have
tremendous respect for. She is owned by Gordon and Norma Smith
and their daughter Sarah Byzewski in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
|
"Tula"

Magor Steel Magnolia of Misk
|
"Tula" is another
thunderous bitch and is the litter sister of Margo. She also made
an auspicious debut in the US being a Silverwood finalist and winning
Reserve Winners Bitch at the BTCA National Specialty the next
day. She is also owned by Gordon and Norma Smith.

Mille

Can CH Obligatta Bat Dance
"Mille" was whelped in the early 1990's and she was my 3rd homebred
generation coming down from Banbury Brass Amulet. She displayed
super breed type. She was sired by a wonderful dog who was little
used, CH Nuance Nosferatu.
