"Hypatia"

CH Pluperfect
Winstonwil Plum
|
Hypatia was the foundation bitch of
Pluperfect. As a teenager, I admired the Pantyblaidd bloodline
more than any
other and I was thrilled to at last obtain this bitch in my early
twenties. She was intensely linebred on two of the most important
Pantyblaidd imports, Piper and Beat. I will forever be indebted
to Charles and Sue Harrison who agreed to sell me the pick of litter
bitch. Her influence on the betterment of the breed cannot be
overestimated.

"Agnetha"

CH Pluperfect Primrose ROMG
|
Agnetha could
rightly be called the kennel's true foundation as it was mainly through
her two litters by Ice Anchor that our greatest achievements were
accomplished. A beautiful little bitch with a gorgeous front, she
picked up 14 points by 7 months of age. She produced 9 champions
from her two litters and from them have come legions of top
winners. Her pedigree is fascinating as she is intensely inbred
on Pantyblaidd bloodlines. After her first litter she lived with
the Vantrease family becoming their beloved pet.

"Scarlett"

CH Pluperfect
Peace Rose ROMG
|
Scarlett was a very small, very
beautiful bitch. She barely weighed 24 pounds and yet was often
recognized for her exquisite type, construction and elegance. At
12 months she was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the 1986
National Specialty and a year later at the 1987 CWCCA National
Specialty she was Best of Opposite Sex and Honor of Merit (the only
bitch so honored) under the renowned Sonnica Godden (Kentwood
Kennels). She produced Ch Kennebec Scarlett's Hue, a national
specialty winner, among her dozen or so champion children. She
was later owned by Helen Jones, Kennebec Kennels.

"Charlotte"
CH
Pluperfect Peggotty
|
Charlotte was one of my very favorite
bitches. Royally bred, she was sired by Peer out of his aunt,
Pegasus. I hated to part with this bitch, but had promised her
owner a good one. I loved this bitch's head, her eye and
expression, her bone, substance and shape. Another rather small
bitch, I felt she was overlooked far too often, but in her latter years
she turned the tables by winning the prestigious Megan
Competition. She came from a litter of 4 champions. She was
owned by Cindy Bossi and Cindy's mother, Pat Blann.

"Annie"

CH Chandler's Remembrance
|
Annie was bred by my mentor and long
time friend, Norma Chandler, along with the ladies of Sisterwood
Kennel. Out of an Ice Anchor daughter she was sired by the
successful producing CH Davenitch Sandpiper. I was extremely
impressed by this bitch when I saw her as a young show dog and was very
fortunate to become a co-owner along with Norma and Richard Huff
(Windshyre). I will always have mixed emotions as I believe had
Annie been campaigned she would have become one of the greatest winners
in the breed - she was a very honest and very sound bitch. She
was Best in Sweepstakes at the 1993 CWCCA National Specialty, an HoM
winner and then
won the Megan Competition as a veteran - she was always a good one.

"Pegasus"

CH Pluperfect Pegasus of Cymru ROMB
|
Pegasus
was one of three CWCCA National Specialty winners from the first Ice
Anchor - Primrose litter. At 12 months she was Best in
Sweepstakes under Charlie MacInnes (Finnshavn) and in her first and
only
specials appearance, she was selected Best of Breed under Mary Gay
Sargent. She was only bred once, to her nephew CH Daventich
Peer of Pluperfect, but she produced 4 champions including CH
Pluperfect Prussian who won Best of Opposite Sex in Sweeps at the 1988
CWCCA National Specialty, and CH Pluperfect Peggotty who won the Megan
Competition in 1996. Our best headpieces usually trace back to
this lovely bitch. She was the treasured pet of the David
Waggoner family.
