"Dylan" was the foundation sire at Merrymoon. He was royally bred out of two British imports. Dylan had a very successful show career which included twice winning the Canadian Cardigan Welsh Corgi National Specialty. As a youngster, he was also Best in Sweepstakes at the Canadian National. He was bred by Patrick Ormos and Cathy Ochs-Cline and owned by Barb Hoffman.

"Hunter" is an outstanding breed specimen with wonderful type, soundness and quality. His show career included Winners Dog & Best of Winners under Jon Kimes at the CWCCA National Specialty, WD & BW under Gayle Garvin at the Bluebonnet specialty, and RWD under Bob Caldwell at the following year's CWCCA National Specialty. We just used him in the fall of 2006 and he produced Merrymoon Pluperfect Pathway who was WD & BW, Best Opp Sex in Sweepstakes at the 2007 CWCCA national specialty at 6 1/2 months. We consider him a key dog in our breeding program. He is owned by Shelley Camm.

Even though "Bob" absolutely hated the show ring he finished his Canadian Championship in five shows. In 1998 he became the second Cardigan to win a BPIS and the first Canadian bred Cardigan and the first male Cardigan puppy to win a BPIS award. Bob was WD/BOW/Best Canadian Bred at the CCCC National Specialty in 2003. He sired a litter out of Am CH Dovedale Beau's Black Beauty for Elaina and Paul Brabant (Dovedale Kennels) who produced Am CH Dovedale's Jillian, RWB and BOS in Sweepstakes at the 2000 CCCC National Specialty. In 2004 he was bred to Pixie Lauer's (Puddleduck Kennels) Can & Am CH Woodrose Wynona. That breeding produced Am CH Puddleduck Woodrose Naomi, WB/BOW/BOS/BP, at the 2005 CCCC National Specialty.
Bob sired three litters at Merrymoon and produced the influential stud, Merrymoon Noblestar Jacob and Canada's first multi-BPIS Cardigan puppy, a sable bitch, Can & Am CH Merrymoon Noblestar My Girl.
Bob was bred by Lin Mazurkiewicz & Barbara Hoffman.

"Gabe" is another brindle pointed black/white dog of lovely type. As a youngster, he won Reserve Winners Dog at the CWCCA national Specialty under Helen Bole Jones. He was BB at the Canadian club's national specialty in 2003, and won an Honor of Merit at the 2005 CWCCA national specialty. Supported by his devoted co-owner, Sally Weiss, Gabe was specialled to #3 Cardigan in U.S. in 2004. Gabe was also #1 Cardigan in Canada in 2003. As a sire of limited use, Gabe has sired a Best Puppy in Show winner and the Winners Dog at the 2005 Canadian national specialty. Gabe was bred by Norma Chandler and Jon Kimes and owned by Sally Weiss, Patti Snider and Barb Hoffman.

"Brodie" is a wonderful dog in terms of length, substance, bone and overall silhouette. Jon gave him first in his class at the 1998 CWCCA National Specialty and he later bought his dam.

Like Gabe, "Welles" is another blending of the Pluperfect and Merrymoon breeding program. He represents our never-ending quest for true breed type, elegance and correct structure.
