CH Merrymoon Devil Woman

RJ was Winners Bitch and Honor of
Merit under Jon Kimes at the 1998
CWCCA National Specialty. Because she was shown in "Bred By
Exhibitor" but had a Canadian registration number, her win was later
withdrawn by the AKC - even mores the pity as she had two 5 point
majors going into the national. The CWCCA allowed her to retain
her HoM
award, however. The tables were turned, however, when RJ came
back to CWCCA to become the first (and only) Canadian Cardigan to win
the prestigious Megan Competition a few years
later, as well as an HoM at the CWCCA National under Helen Jones.
Although a big bitch, she was beautifully made, sound and had one of
the highest quality expressions we've seen in the breed.

"Bootes"

Bootes is a smashing blue bitch bred
by Genie Bishop. Her coloring is wonderful - crystal clear blue
with large, irregular black patches. Barb and Lin saw this bitch
and loved her immediately and she was leased by them and produced the
successful dog, CH Mazara's Merrymoon Reggae Bob. She was later
purchased by Barb but failed to conceive again.

youngsters, Gwen and Murphy. Gwen was Best in Sweepstakes and RWB
at the 2005 Canadian National specialty, and Murphy was Best of
Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes.

This lovely red bitch illustrates the
'type' we strive to achieve in the Cardigan. This bitch
demonstrates a wonderful blunted wedge head which perfectly matches her
body for balance, a long neck, a long, deep, level body, prominent
forechest, good construction and all put together in a balanced and
typical package. Rosita is by Can Am CH Phi-Vestavia Pirate's
Patch out of Can Am CH Merrymoon Devil Woman. She is shown
winning at a Canadian supported show and will be shown by her owner,
Sue Burchill, Jazsita Kennels.

"Rosey"
Can CH Phi-Vestavia Unforgettable

Rosey is the "foundation" of
Merrymoon Kennel - she has been the strength from which we have
bred. She is sired by Can & Am CH Phi-Vestavia Nautilus out
of Can & Am CH Rikarlo American Phi (British import).
She is shown winning the group under breeder-judge Mary Hobbs her first
time out as a special. She was also Best of Opposite Sex at the
CCCC National. She is a multi-group winner in Canada and group
placer in the U.S. Bred to Am & Eng CH Phi-Vestavia Evan
Evans, she produced Devil Woman. Bred to Can & Am CH
Phi-Vestavia Pirate's Patch, she produced Firestorm and Can CH
Merrymoon Indomitable, Winners Bitch/Best of Opposite Sex/Best Puppy at
the Canadian National.

"Hannah"
Can & Am CH Merrymoon Noblestar Hot Ice

Hannah finished her
American championship with three 5 point majors at supported
shows. She was awarded Best Bred By Exhibitor in Show at the 2000
CWCCA national specialty, and Best Red Bitch at the 2005 Megan
Competition. Bred to Reggae Bob, she produced Canada's only
multiple Best
Puppy in Show Cardigan. She is noted for her outstanding movement.
